Of exceptionally drawn form; the gently curved and finely shaped lines surrounding an effortlessly cut back splat, exhibiting the quality and depth of the mahogany timber, all on simple carved cabriole legs and ‘h’ shaped stretcher, terminating in paw feet. The drop-in seat recently upholstered in hand dyed yellow antique linen. Irish c.1750
